Total Energies trusted on ERCER + The Move team for the Design & Build of its new corporate headquarters in Oviedo. Based on the exceptional relationship with The Move studio, we created an energetic space that perfectly reflects the deep transformation that Total Energies is carrying out in its business towards new ways of energy.
Its new headquarters are located in Oviedo (Spain) in a unique location on the train tracks with an even more special and unusual space. A local with a huge area with only two floors with great depth in which the challenge was to guarantee the adequate size of the open space and natural light to all the workstations.
The result is an office structured by different “Plazas de la Energía / Squares of Energy” that are meeting/collaboration areas and also serve for orientation with the floor. The architecture and materials introduce you to the Total Energies environment and encourage the flexible and collaborative work that the company has embraced for the future.
The execution of the project was carried out (including demolition of existing supermarket) in six months, completely renewing more than 3.500 sqm through an Open Book model. In this model, ERCER carried out more than 20 different tenders to find the best possible subcontractor on each of the trades. On each tender, there were around 3-4 companies that sent both their technical and economic offer and were chosen by Total Energies under the professional advice of ERCER.
More than 45 companies participated in the project to develop both architecture, coatings and the installations. All of them coordinated and managed by the ERCER team to achieve the objectives both in terms of quality and deadlines.
